REQUIREMENTS
– An iPad or iPad mini running iOS 7.0 or higher
HARDWARE
Global Storm POS is compatible with the iDynamo (via Merchant Warehouse) and uDynamo (via Merchant Warehouse) credit card swipes, Griffin’s Olli credit card swipe and barcode scanner, and compatible payment terminals for credit and debit transactions (including Merchant Warehouse Genius).
Developer’s Notes:
Global Storm was developed while working for Appmosphere, Inc. The development team consisted of two members. The server-side and API code was custom-built in PHP. This app utilizes customized AFNetworking code to interact with the cloud server / API. A customized sign-up/login system was developed on the web, which was then presented in the app via a UIWebView. By interacting between Objective-C and JavaScript, the web-based user account/auth system could provide API keys upon login or signup to the native app. These keys are used to make authenticated user-based calls in the native AFNetworking based API code.
This app features external device support, including wifi receipt printers, bluetooth or MFi barcode scanners, cash registers, and the Merchant-Warehouse Genius credit card scanner with Apple Pay support.
